Innovative new products at electronica 2004
Munich, Germany, November 8th, Seica SpA is presenting its new interactive repair station for all loaded board test systems, featuring advanced Statistical Process Control (SPC) features. This new integrated suite of software tools enables a Seica ATE user to automate the collection of test, repair and verification data and to utilize this data for any number of purposes, such as process verification, quality tracking, statistical analysis, etc. For example, the repair technician can access the board fault data to repair the board, then record his repair actions using a user-configurable interface, while the test quality manager can access the test measurement results and use the SPC tools to perform statistical calculations such as Cp, Cpk, and GR&R to gain information regarding measurement stability and repeatability in order to optimize test time and improve test coverage.
Other products to be displayed on booth no. A1, 459 with Seica's partner for Austria and Germany, AS-Testsysteme GmbH, representing Seica SpA since 1994 at electronica.
S40 Evolution
The S40 Evolution has all the power and flexibility required to provide a complete test solution: from traditional in-circuit testing to low voltage/power analog functional tests, all the way up to high frequency digital functional tests with diagnostics guided by a mathematical simulator. Connection to the unit under test is ensured by a full range of interfaces: bed of nails, connector type interfaces or hybrid custom interfaces, which slide into a practical, pneumatic fixture for rapid setup.
In its maximum configuration, the S40 Evolution represents the "top of the line" in combinational test systems, and is characterized by a series of features and performances common to all of the other products in SEICA's Series S20 and S40 systems.
S40 PILOT LX - Increased Board Handling for demanding applications
An extra large flying probe system well-suited to testing any type of electrical board on any type of production run from a single board to high volume. The extended 24" x 24" board area is particularly suited to larger PCB demands such as PC motherboards and multi-board panels.
The S40 Pilot LX has a full suite of test capabilities ranging from simple MDA testing of passive components through to complete, powered-up In-circuit and functional analog tests, static and dynamic digital tests and vectorless testing. The test can also be further enhanced using boundary scan and custom techniques.
S40 Valid Test System - NEW
The S40 Valid is a complete system for testing electronic printed circuit boards and is capable of performing analog, digital functional, and high frequency digital functional tests. It is ideal for military test applications including LRU testing. The system can be connected to the Unit Under Test (UUT) by means of a bed-of-nails or connector-based interface, or via custom adapters designed specifically to interface to the UUT. The interface is adapted into an ergonomic receiver for rapid fixture changes. The system has been designed to be modular and to integrate PXI, VXI, IEEE-488 based external instruments as required by military applications and very high performance test situations. The modularity of the S40 Valid allows for customer specific solutions that can address the unique requirements of the automotive, consumer, and military markets.
